BREAKING: Baltimore Ravens Activate Star Player for AFC Championship
The Baltimore Ravens get a huge weapon back for the AFC Championship.
The Baltimore Ravens are getting ready to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship. Considering the Chiefs are the last team to win the Super Bowl, the Ravens will need every available asset to take them down. Well, the good news is the Ravens just found out one star player will be available for this game.
Baltimore Ravens Activate Mark Andrews
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Baltimore Ravens have activated TE Mark Andrews off of the Injured Reserve list. As a result, he plans on playing in the AFC Championship. Now, QB Lamar Jackson will get his best weapon back.
Mark Andrews’ Injury History
Andrews has been dealing with an ankle injury for just over two months. During Baltimore’s Week 11 battle against the Cincinnati Bengals, Andrews suffered a serious ankle injury. That injury kept him out until now.
Last week, some people speculated that Andrews would return for the divisional round game against the Houston Texans. In the end, the Ravens decided to keep him out for one more week. However, it was nearly confirmed that Andrews would play in the AFC Championship if the Ravens took care of business against the Texans.
Mark Andrews’ Numbers
So, how has Andrews done this season? In 10 games, Andrews has 544 receiving yards and six touchdown receptions. Now, he looks to add to those numbers in the AFC Championship.
