Exclusive: The Rams set to make the loan move of the talented Midfielder a permanent one

Manager of Cardiff City, Erol Bulut, has congratulated Ebou Adams on his promotion from Derby County, and he anticipates that they will attempt to make the transfer permanent.

Post-Match Verdict: 'It Was A Great Team Performance' - Adams - Blog - Derby County

Adams, who joined Pride Park on loan in January, has been a big success there and was essential to their promotion back to the Championship. With his aggressiveness and persistence, the midfielder has been a game-changer for Paul Warne’s team, strengthening a midfield that was lacking such qualities.

With one year remaining on Adams’ contract with the Bluebirds, fans are keen for Derby to sign the Gambian international on a permanent basis. Although last week’s claims that Derby is putting together a £250,000 were unfounded, they certainly have a big interest in the player on the back of his performances.

Bulut says he expects Adams to return to pre-season training but admits they will listen to the player’s thoughts about his future and says Derby will have to talk to Cardiff about any deal.

“I congratulated him for the victory,” Bulut said when asked about Adams’ situation. “They got promoted. He was a big part from the season and helped the team a lot to get promoted.
